Looking for a way to keep your Samsung device screen on while dock charging wirelessly or wired. Here are a couple methods to keep your screen on while charging your Samsung Devices.

Method 1- Just have screen Stay on while charging.

This method should be available on all Android devices, since it’s simply enabling the "Stay Awake while charging" option under the developer options settings menu. I caution that using this method may potentially damage and/or degrade your device battery life faster. Since keeping the screen on depletes the battery, leaving the device in an infinite charging state.

To enable Developers options:

1. Head to Settings
2. Enter About Phone menu
3. Select Software information.
4. Simply tap the build number seven times.

Method 2- Only enable show Always on Display while charging.

For this method we'll be creating a Bixby routines. If you haven't already done so, follow these steps to enable Bixby Routines:

1. Head over to Settings.
2. Select Advanced Features
3. Then enable Bixby Routines

Afterwards, create the following the routine:

This method is my preferred method since the Always on display feature is minimalist, providing just enough information and dim enough to double as a bedside clock at night when docked to a wireless charger.

Method 3- Set a longer screen Timeout delay after enter charging.

The last method is simply increasing the screen timeout duration. The maximum being ten minutes. You can set this either in settings or create a Bixby Routine to set a different timeout for when the phone is charging.
